Empowering tomorrow's leaders through educational advancement
The Betancourt Scholarship Fund was founded in 2018 for the purpose of assisting High School Seniors, who are first in their family to go to college. First generation college students often lack career guidance and financial resources to prepare for and achieve success in their first semester of college. As such, the Fund intends to provide financial support and mentorship for recipients throughout their first semester of college. Currently the scholarship is open to graduating seniors of Colonial High School in Orlando, FL. For more information Colonial High School statistics, please click here. As of 01/02/2019, the Betancourt Scholarship Fund is a registered Florida non-profit corporation with 501(c)(3) tax exempt status.
